This is one of our most common areas of improvement once a client has reset their gut through our programme. Energy levels from morning until the evening have increased and many clients are jumping out of bed in the morning! There are many reasons on why this could be, some to consider are as follows. Many people think that they need lots of starchy carbs to be able to sustain energy throughout the day however the results with our clients have shown completely the opposite. By cutting out processed foods and carbs this has given them more energy! Also gut microbiomes control metabolism and how we obtain energy from our foods. Hormones such as dopamine and adrenaline are also produced in the gut so by keeping your gut healthy you are helping these hormones to produce resulting in an increase in energy.
